Por fin la ilustración para el matrimonio de Tania está lista!
El resto de los proyectos han consistido en algunas ilustraciones para la revista de la Universidad Católica y el banner cumpleañero de Flims.

Como es una lata mostrar gráficos me ahorraré por esta vez las imagenes y quejas al respecto.

The other projects have included some illustrations for the Catholic University magazine and the birthday banner of Flims.

Because it is a boring to show some graphs and statistics (that I keep doing), I will save pictures and complaints this time.

A veces también hago cosas algo fomes

Por lo general no me molesta mucho hacer gráficos o tablas. Pero cuando tienes que hacer casi 50 de éstos, créanme que uno le va perdiendo el cariño. Hoy debo terminalos todos, así que porfavor deséenme suerte :.)

Usually I do not mind much to do graphics or tables. But when you have to do about 50 of them, believe me you will lose some affection. Today I must get all done, so please wish me luck :.)

Bueno, algo así va el proyecto de atucasa.com. Toda la idea tipográfica fue de Cristian, así que mi aporte real fue todo lo que es la ilustración de la comida. Como el cliente no quería colores convencionales en la comida, hice tres pruebas de combinaciones de colores para ver si le gusta alguno. Ojalá diga que si :/


Well, kind of goes the atucasa.com project. All typographical idea was from Christian, so my real contribution was all that is the illustration of the food. As the customer did not want conventional food colors, I did three tests of color combinations to see if he likes. I hope he says yes :/


Últimamente he tenido dolores de cabeza fuertes y estoy intentando reemplazar el delicioso café por el té. Estos días he probado una infusión de jasmín que me relaja y me pone de buen humor. Me pueden recomendar uno?

Lately I've had severe headaches and I am trying to replace the yummy coffee for tea. These days I've tried a jasmine tea that relaxes me and puts me in a good mood. Can you recommend one?

Atucasa.com

Hace un par de días, Cristián me pidió hacer un mes de prueba en su Estudio de Diseño y el primer proyecto que estoy haciendo es para Atucasa.com. Mientras dibujaba los bocetos de la comida se me ocurrió hacer una tipografía script como la que ven junto a las papas fritas :O

En fin. La oficina es hermosa, hay muchos libros y de vez en cuando Cristián me sirve increíble café. Como solo vengo en las mañanas, en las tardes le dedico tiempo a mis proyectos personales y otros trabajos. Ah y obvio, alimentar a mis gatos gordos.

A few days ago, Cristian asked me to do one-month-trial in his design studio and the first project I'm doing is for Atucasa.com. While I was drawing the sketches of the food, I decided to make a script-font as you can see next to the french fries :O

Anyway. The office is beautiful, there are many books and occasionally Cristian serves me incredible coffee. Since only I come in the mornings, afternoons I spent time on personal projects and other projects. Oh and obviously, feed my fat cats.

Esto ha sido lo último que he hecho últimamente. Cada ilustración que subí tiene el link con el artículo del post que me tocó para Zancada. Quizás estaba pensando hacer un making-off de cómo es que hago estas ilustraciones, sería buena idea? El último encargo fue de Tania, quien me contactó para hacer el retrato de ella y de su (casi) marido para la invitación de su matrimonio.

This is the last thing I've done lately. Each illustration I have uploaded have the link to the post that I was assigned to for Zancada. Maybe I was thinking of doing a making-off of how I do these illustration, would be a good idea?

The last assignment was Tania, who contacted me to make a portrait of her and her (almost) husband to the invitation of his marriage.
